The little brother to
Le Grand Vin is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec & Petit Verdot.
Consistently savoury, this vintage seems to be more lifted; it offers dried herbs and a combination of sweet and peppery spices, tealeaf and cedar chips, violets, vanilla and wild berries on the nose. Supple on the entry it has espresso, dark chocolate, tobacco and roasted meat flavours that lead to a long and fresh finish.
Pair: Grilled or roasted meats, stews, puy lentils with savoury herbs, aged hard cheeses.
